Minerva Mohabir is a Toronto- based Actress & Dancer.In film & television, Minerva has a variety of credits which include roles in feature films, "Killer Gods" that won best picture at the L.A. Film Festival 2012 and "Silent Retreat"(2013) that just picked up Best Canadian Feature Film at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival 2013 . Also seen in 'Splitting Bethany (2013), 'Maizals' (2013), 'High Profile' (2013) and 'Third Law' (2011). Featured in the reality special "Making the Pak" on Raptors TV and commercials for Budweiser, Listerine, Big Brother Canada, Sony Walkman, Esquire, HBO's 'Boxing after Dark' and corporate videos for Tim Hortons. Minerva has also been featured as the leading lady for music videos 'So Far Been A Pleasure' and 'Chaddi Wale Yaar' (the promo music video for Russel Peter's movie 'Breakaway') as well as playing the leading lady role for numerous Bollywood music videos. Her impressive acting skills is accredited to her on-going and dedicated training to Armstrong Acting Studios, Pro Actors Lab, Sears & Switzer as well as multiple workshops and private training with esteemed coaches from Toronto and LA. Recently she completed an on-camera workshop with L.A. Casting Director, Jennifer Cooper.In addition to her acting skills, Minerva is an accomplished dancer. Holding five consecutive seasons as a professional dancer and choreographer for the NBA Toronto Raptors dance pack, she was also elected by 700,000 fans as All Star dancer.All Star. Other dance credits include working with celebrity artists Massari, Carly Rae Jepson, Glass Tiger, Eva Avila, opening for Karl Wolf and more. Minerva has also choreographed for the CFL Argo Cheerleaders & T.I.F.F. events for the Russel Peter's movie 'Breakaway' and featured on TSN, Raptors TV, City TV, CBC News and SUN TV.Born & raised in Scarborough, Ontario.
