A great Indian drama tells the story of a simple man who earns his living by providing water for agricultural land in his small village. But he is in a clash with his brother who insisted on challenging the president who ruled the village for 30 years. This man is forced to defend the life of his brother.
The film is not just set in the 80s; it also picks a story template from that era and narrates in a refreshingly raw manner. Sukumar must be credited for fleshing out the characters well enough that they don't seem like caricatures of a bygone era.
